Bruce Goddard, Co-Founder & Vice President

       Professional Engineer, Certified General Contractor; Principal, Essex Engineering.  With almost four decades of design and construction experience around the world and nearly 20 mission trips to Haiti under his belt, Bruce Goddard provides HERO a wealth of mission-critical know-how in civil engineering and project management. Goddard excels at assessing the overall engineering and infrastructure situation of a community in Haiti then developing an integrated approach to address health, education, potable water, waste management and power-generating needs.

       Goddard's expertise allows HERO to deliver quality engineering in an environment where there are no building codes, materials can take weeks or months to arrive, and design and construction methods need to be adapted to local conditions and resources.
