Childhood vaccination shots are a challenge for most Haitian families. Hero's Challenge
Haiti is a country listed among the Least Developed Countries (LDC) of the
World. It is the poorest country in the western hemisphere and is enlisted as
an LDC. One critical element in the development of any nation is the quality of
education or literacy levels that exists. More than any other country,
Haiti needs help from sources outside the country to provide a helping
hand. We are called on to help the children of Haiti who are their
future.
Rapid population growth, devastating poverty, and one of the worst HIV/AIDS
epidemics in the western hemisphere contribute to the overwhelming health
challenges facing the Haitian population. Partnership with HERO to promote
education and help communities educate their children who are the future of
Haiti. Help these children achieve their potential. Knowledge is the
cornerstone for a better future for Haiti.
