HERO is helping the children of Haiti by
improving education and healthcare at the local level. HERO's goal is to
promote health and hygiene in communities through building clinics, schools,
wells and water filtration systems. In partnership with other
organizations, HERO provide permanent buildings to house clinics, labs,
pharmacies and health education classes, and emergency care.
HERO building dreams in Haiti The building of the
clinics and the schools would be provided by this HERO. This would be done in
partnership with other organizations that are already supporting communities
within Haiti, Mexico, South America and others. HERO would provide funding for
the construction and start-up of schools and or clinics, and once operational,
the supporting organization would be responsible for all ongoing operations and
expenses.
HERO would support ongoing operations through
volume discounts of school supplies, food, equipment, medications, and medical
supplies. It will also assist in finding teachers to staff the school, finding
doctors and nurses to staff the clinics, and other non-financial assistance as
needed.
The other goal will be to provide scholarships
for those who want to become teachers, nurses, or doctors. Anyone who accepts
these scholarships would make a commitment to work in the schools or clinics
for a period of time upon graduation.

Charitable organizations want to help the poor in Haiti. But obstacles are

resources effectively when contructing a school, clinic or basic
